cupcakes.

It's the simplest of things that bring the biggest grins to your child's eyes: a cardboard box, playing tag, sugar :)   I made cupcakes the other day and let Nathan put frosting and sprinkles on two of them. Honestly, he ate most of it before a full cupcake was ever put together, but he had the best time.

We got some fresh air and sunshine today as a family, which has been no easy feat! The shorter days make it impossible to play in the daylight during the week once work is done for us and preschool for Nate and the weekends lately have been rainy and cold. Finally, we got a sunny Saturday so we headed to the swing set this afternoon. Nate got to play, Chris climbed a tree (why?!) and I got to use my new camera lens, so win win :) 

Overstatement of every parent, but he is growing up way too fast...
